While Beth A. Metsch was practicing architecture in New York City, she began designing and creating unique handbags for herself to carry around town. In 2001, after garnering the attention of friends and retail stores that wanted to know who designed her bags, she launched BAM Bags with a product assortment of limited edition leather bags and expanded her collection over the years to include tote bags, diaper bags, and her patented ZIPPURSE®. The ZIPPURSE®, a unique invention designed with the use of one continuous zipper, is but one example of how the brand combines quality craftsmanship and art.
