For over 30 years, Eagle Creek has been inspired by travel and has been a leading provider of luggage, backpacks, and bags for those who seek adventure. They began as a retail store in the California San Jacinto Mountains selling custom-sewn mountain packs, but, in 1975, turned to full-time manufacturing. Since then, they have infused durability and innovation into all their products with the goal of making travel a little easier.

It isn't just their attention to crafstmanship that has made Eagle Creek a leading travel outfitter. They were first to market with many features including double-needle stitched seams for strength, built-in organizers, and products like the Switchback which was the original convertible backpack. In addition, many of their products have become best-sellers in the bag industry, loved by travelers who depend on their longevity and functionality. The Exploration System collection, for example, offers the strength and features needed for rugged travel. The renowned Pack-It™ system continues to keep travelers worldwide organized through a series of packing folders, cubes, and sacs. Eagle Creek also continues to rack up the awards including in 2008, the National Geographic Adventure's Best of Adventure award for its Take 2 ORV Trunk 28" Travel Duffel and the eBags Overall Best Performer of the Year Award based on operational performance.

Today, Eagle Creek calls Carlsbad home, but their focus on innovation and quality has not changed.
