HomingPIN is the new must have travel accessory, and the future of lost property protection. It’s taken 5 years of investment to achieve aviation industry support (HomingPIN is the only IATA Strategic Partner for backup tags).
How it works in airlines:
Each HomingPIN has a unique code that is ‘tied’ to its owner. When a mislaid bag with an activated HomingPIN reaches an airport bag handler, the HomingPIN delivers instantaneous matching of mislaid bag to owner, and a text and email to be immediately sent to you. In many cases if you have travelled further than your bag you’ll be sent a text telling you where it is and what to do as soon as you’ve landed, without even reporting that it’s lost! Your bag is then forwarded to you free and immediately, instead of up to a week’s wait. But it’s better than that.
How it works everywhere else:
If your bag is lost outside the airline (in a taxi or train, at a restaurant, in a hotel etc.) the finder can report it to HomingPIN.com and you’ll be put in contact with them (the finder is not given your details). Most lost property is not returned because the finder can’t easily contact the owner. If you wish, HomingPIN can then arrange (at extra cost) for it to be returned to you including from overseas. If the finder doesn’t speak your language, HomingPIN automatically translates their message from over 70 languages. Cover is 365 days a year, 24 hours.
Finally, the HomingPIN pack comes with Asset Labels. Like the HomingPIN bag tags they use a unique code to match you to your property. The labels can be fixed to gadgets (phones, cameras, laptops etc.), passports and even bikes.
Travel insurance lets you claim for loss, HomingPIN can get your property back instead!
