KaraB was founded by Kara Buttimer in 2003. She had become so tired of carrying the same old, boring, black nylon laptop bag that she just had to do something about it. After talking to her friends and colleagues, she learned they felt the same way; everyone was frustrated by the lack of unique, fashionable, yet well-designed laptop bags. Having been in the fashion industry for over 15 years, Kara was able to collaborate with a number of factories and friends to create alternatives.
