Superstars such as Halle Berry, Jennifer Aniston, Drew Barryomore, Uma Thurman, Kate Bexkingsale, Faith Hill and Queen Latifah have all been spotted carrying m.andonia bags. Maria draws inspiration from all over the world. scouring fabric mills in Europe and vintage stores in the U.S. to find just the right materials to convey her classic yet modern, sophisticated yet edgy, romanitc yet rock 'n roll sense of style. She often embellishs the bags with Sworoski crystals and lamination. Maria;s fashion know-how stems from her degree in graphic design from California State University and her graduate studies at the reowned Studio Art Centers International in Florence, Italy. After making herseld a handbag fashioned from vintage placement, Maria received such rave reviews that she decided to start her own business creating unique bags that make up the m. andonia collection. "I knew that if I was going to make it in this business, I was going to have to come up with something different and excititng", says MAria. " I don't follow trends, I have no interest in recreating what has already been done. What I do have interest in is creating works of art, and that is what my strong desiign experience has allowed me to do with each piece in my creation."
