"This pack is excellent for bike rides, hikes or runs. It has a snug fit, which allows another back pack to be worn over it, and is very comfortable." |

"Excellent hydration pack. Basic, sturdy and gets the job done. I used it for weekly long runs of 2-4 hours when training for a marathon. Just enough space in the zipper compartment for a gel flask and keys. Straps were well placed and tension amounts were good to keep it snug during these long runs. I used it for water initially, but started using Hammer HEED in the bladder. The bladder will retain the odor of the drinks flavor even after thorough cleaning, but not a problem in terms of it being sanitary - rinsed it out twice, after removing from the pack, and air dried opening and tube hanging inverted after each use. Also bought a spare bladder to switch out after 2 hours with another Hammer product called Sustained Energy, which I kept refrigerated in the bladder, and switched out half way in my work out by stopping home. Again, an excellent product and well worth the money. I can say others out this summer doing similar mileage were not hydrating and I had more comfortable training runs with the Camelbak Classic. Good luck!" |

"I love my CamelPak! This particular model is very minimalist. I got it for a music festival, where prices for water are high and the less stuff you carry with you, the better the experience. The water container was about three or four water bottles worth of storage. I went through it quickly, but it was great to have my water stored this way (and I saved some cash).
If youre going anywhere for more than a couple of hours, Id recommend getting something with a little more capacity and storage. I had just enough room to fit some money, my cell, and some earplugs in the pocket, with the bag full of water.
My investment into a CamelPak was definitely worthwhile. I also got 20 percent off at this website at that particular time (on a Wednesday), which was even better than what I was expecting!" |

"I use this camelbak for riding long trips on my motorcycle. So far it works great and I wouldnt want to ride without it. I would highly reccomend it to other motorcyclists. The bite tube hangs from the shoulder strap clip in a convenient area for me to pop into my mouth but doesnt blow around in the wind. It would be nice if there was a tube clip on the left strap as well but thats available seperately so its not too big of a deal. I was able to refrigerate the water overnight and enjoy cold water until the late afternoon in 85 degree riding. The water in the tube gets warm but everything inside the main bladder stays cold so your first drink is warm but followed by cool water. The fit is big enough to go over my thick riding jacket and easy to get on. Overall highly recommended." |
