"I really like this bag a lot. Storage is great and the special venting in th back/bag interface jeeps me cool. My only gripe is that the tube from the resevoir is too short. I have to really bend my neck or stop riding to sip." |

"Quality bag, comfortable, and holds everything I need. I cycle to work, and the venting greatly reduces back sweat. I havent taken it on a ride in the rain, but the roll top and waterproof inside should ensure all your belongings stay dry in rain -- even if your water reservoir leaks or something (which I doubt it will). This looks to be an awesome mountain biking bag.
The adjustable straps increase the capacity, so you can easily fit a hoodie or something in your bag. I use the camera pouch frequently for my point-and-shoot.
Minor gripes: The roll top makes accessing the big compartment kind of a hassle. (Some people may only want to use this on messy/wet outdoor rides, but Im fine with it. I dont carry a ton of stuff that I need to pull out of the bag all the time.) Also, the side pockets are not zippered, theyre elastic pouches.
Overall, I love this bag, and its the standard Im holding to any other bag Im tempted to buy. Few even come close. Hooray for CamelBak!" |
