These types of cases act like a mini padded bag for your cell phone and offer protection from scratches and bumps while inside your bag. However, your phone will need to be taken out of its pouch before use. Pouches give your phone the slim feeling when in your hand and protection when not in use.

When deciding on a type of cell phone case, it is important to think about how often you use your cellphone and how careful you are with it when you use it. Consider whether or not unzipping it from a pouch before use will be an issue and whether or not the extra bulk is worth the added protection.
