Whether it's an iPad or an iPad 2, now that you've invested in it, you'll need a case to protect it. iPad cases come in a variety of styles including iPad bags, iPad sleeves, and iPad hard covers and which one you choose depends on how you plan to carry and use your iPad.

For carrying your iPad from place to place, nothing is more ideal than an iPad bag or iPad sleeve. iPad bags are shoulder bags, backpacks, and more that have a dedicated compartment that fits the iPad. iPad sleeves, on the other hand, are padded jackets that hold your iPad and can be used in conjunction with any bag essentially turning your favorite work bag, backpack, tote, or messenger bag into an iPad bag. Both generally offer additional room and pockets for carrying other essentials.
