These bags often come with a stand feature that allows you to stand the bag up when it’s not being carried. Golf stand bags and carry bags are designed to be lightweight and easy to carry around the course, but because of these attributes, typically lack some features that larger bags have, such as multiple pockets for organization. If you need to carry many golf accessories with you such as towels, markers, or an umbrella, consider one of the larger types of golf bags.

Finally, golf travel bags are just as the name suggests – golf bags designed to carry clubs and golf necessities when traveling. Golf travel bags are designed to be entirely enclosed so your clubs stay secure and protected when checked as baggage. Golf travel bags often come with wheels so they can be easily rolled through the airport which is crucial since golf bags in general tend to be bulky items that are difficult to maneuver.

When you begin shopping for a golf bag, consider your style of play and organizational needs. Consider the amount and types of pockets/compartments you need to have as well as how you see yourself using the bag, and start your search with these two factors in mind.
