About Travel Pillows & Blankets
When looking to purchase a Travel Pillow and Blanket, it is important to consider all of your possible uses for the travel pillow and/or travel blanket before choosing which is best for your particular needs.Aside from being portable and easy to store, travel pillows should be designed with strong neck support, they should be easy to wash after use, and they should offer a supportive design that won’t break down after several uses. While most travel pillows are u-shaped, you can also find them in a rectangular shape which makes them more versatile. For instance, rectangular travel pillows can double as a smaller-sized pillow in hotel rooms or can be used to lay up against the window in the car. Most travel pillows are made from either memory foam or micro bead, or they are completely inflatable. Memory foam and micro bead pillows are typically more comfortable, but not as compact as inflatable travel pillows. If you’re willing to sacrifice a bit of comfort for something that won’t take up as much space on your carry-on, the inflatable travel pillow is your way to go.
Travel blankets tend to be lightweight and easy to carry and store, making them perfect not only for travel but also on a trip to the park or a ball game. Depending on how and when you will use the blanket, you may choose between several different materials and styles. Cashmere to many is the softest and most comfortable choice but is also one of the more expensive materials available. The most common blankets are usually fleece which is very warm and comfortable but can become bulky depending on the thickness, and cotton which is lightweight and compact but a lot thinner than other choices.
