"I purchased this bag to use as a carry on bag and after doing a lot of research of user reviews. After using it on a recent three day trip to Las Vegas, I can say that I am very happy with this bag, and that it is all that it is cracked up to be.
By using Eagle Creek cubes and accessories, the bag easily held all my travel needs, and kept them well organized. The bag easily fit in the overhead bin of Deltas Boeing 737, but had to be placed sideways in the overhead bin of the MD-90 we flew on our return trip. It would not fit with the wheels out.
I only wish that I had learned about Eagle Creek and their Tarmac series before buying the Briggs and Riley, Pathfinder, and TravelPros that Ive used in the past. Compared to the Tarmac 22, those bags are heavy, clumsy and obsolete." |

"The bag is much lighter than I had expected. The shape of it is also perfect for even small overhead bins. The top of the bag curves down slightly and allows it to snug in to the back of the overhead bin. Other people with fully square bags were unable to fully fit them in on a MD-80. This one fit perfectly" |

"This suitcase fits perfectly into the overhead bins of all commercial airlines, and is easy to lift with the additional side handle. Perfect for a 2-3 day business trip, I have even been able to pack my laptop into the main inside area. I only wish that the strap to attach another bag had a firm clip on it, rather than the curved tab. I have already lost the strap several times." |

"With airlines restricting weight more and more, this bag makes sense because of its light weight. Traveling extensively in India, my bags are put through rigors that most people couldnt dream of. This is where the durability of this bag has been proving itself. It was difficult for me to spend so much money on a carry-on bag, but Ive been impressed with its light weight and durability and it has sold me on Eagle Creek and this particular line of bags." |

"Excellent bag. Fits in all the overhead compartments I've tried. The organizational features of the bag are great - things don't get "lost". The clamshell design works well. Using the Eagle Creek packing products ("sold separately") really makes use of the compartment options of this bag." |
