"Very lightweight, easy to maneuver. Organization of the bag makes it very efficient to use -- holds a lot and keeps it intact -- fewer wrinkles. If it holds up to airlines abuse as well as other owners have claimed, this will be 5-star." |

"I used the Eagle Creek Tarmac 25 every day for almost 11 months when I traveled around the world from July 2007 to May 2008. It was subjected to grueling conditions: dragged up and down and down and up oodles of stairs (wood, marble, concrete, metal, you name it); dragged over rubble, cobblestone, dirt; transported on tops of buses and vans; stuffed into trunks and cargo holds. In short, it was put through a ringer. Yet, looking at it now, you'd almost think it was brand new!
Aside from the fabric, the real winner on this item is the wheels. The only thing I had to do when I got home was to wash off the muck.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that before I left for the trip I was testing T-25's ability to serve as a seat should the need arise [um, it doesn't] and I caused a little dint on one of the corners. This made it a bit more difficult to zip but it wasn't a big deal. And, after all those openings and closings it seems to have healed itself.
Obviously if I lived out of this for 10+ months I am a light packer. So until I go on another really long trip it will sit in the storage bin, tenderly covered in plastic sheeting.
My only serious regret is that I want to buy a smaller piece for shorter trips and EC doesn't seem to make an all black model any more. That's a shame as I would never buy anything other than all black luggage." |

"This is really a great travel case. It has been on several trips in the USA and Europe. So far the airlines have not been able to destroy the case. It is light weight, easy to organize and as mentioned above, pretty much indestructible. I would recommend this case to anyone that needs to pack enough clothes for a week plus of travel and wants their travel case to come through the travel looking good and intact." |
