"I was tired of throwing out suitcases after only a couple of years due to broken zippers, damage, etc., so I decided to bite the bullet and buy 2 of these more expensive bags. I was impressed by the lifetime warranty and figured that made it work the hefty price tag. These are really great bags!!! We travel 3 - 4 times a year for weeklong family vacations and it is a struggle to bring everything we need and stay within the weight/size limits. These bags worked like a charm. I stuffed more in them than my old bags would hold and still came in at 42 lbs. I need to go back and buy 2 more so our whole family has them. The unique color is great for baggage claim. No more having to tie ribbons on my black suitcases. Dont be put off by the price, this bag is definitely worth the money." |

"My wife and I work overseas (currently in the Middle East). We needed something that would hold up to crazy abuse & still look decent at the end of the day. EC is genius at organization & durability. The 28 easily held the 70 lbs weight limit. It doesn't tip forward even under heavy load. The wheels are super smooth & the zippers are top notch. The Sienna color shows up great at the baggage claim. Don't let price be a total factor to the buying decision... Per EC: "If an elephant uses your bag for a teething ring in Nambia, we'll replace it..." Can't beat that! A side note on eBags... I've never encountered such professional & consistent customer service online. They quickly responded with a price match & my returns have been effortless...will buy from them again & again..." |

"Used the 25 off coupon to purchase and glad I did. We bought these bags for the light weight and lifetime warranty. We used these bags for a trip to Hawaii the first time and I was disappointed in what the bag did weigh when we got to airport. We do travel quite a bit, usually on longer trips 14-16 days and this one was only 8 days so I cant really blame a lack of packing expierience. This bag is a bit more than 7lbs lighter than the 26in. spinner upright it replaced. I did use most of the pack-it suggestions that came with bag and they do help to maximize the bags useful space. I would recommend that you use at least some of them, but not all are needed. I Did weigh the bag with all the extra pack-it items to help resolve the weight problem after I got home. It was neglible maybe extra 1.5lbs. I used most of these in my old luggage as well. Bottom Line is that Eagle Creek products are some of the best out there and this bag is no exception. If you are looking to replace a bag for international travel and longer trips to save some weight then I think you should also consider the way you pack versus the cost of this bag when compared to others. If you are ok with that, and with the warranty eagle creek offers on this bag, then it could very well be the last piece of large luggage you will have to buy. I think in these times of rising airline fees and not really knowing how strict your agent will be until you check in, then a good luggage scale is mandatory with any new luggage purchase to avoid any surprises. No matter what you decide on the luggage side the pack-it pieces are great in any luggage." |
