We took our best selling full-size Mother Lode and downsized it a bit, making it more suitable to the new weight restrictions for checked baggage. Just like the original, we built in lots of flexibility into this bag. You can choose to pack the Mother Lode Junior as a one, two, or three compartment duffel. You can move divider shelves around in the bottom compartment to section-off areas to meet your unique needs. • Convertible One/Two-compartment Wheeled Duffel

• Large upper main compartment measures 20.5" x 14" x 9" and has the following features:

• Full-size U-shaped zippered opening for easy loading. Opening measures 17" x 12"

• #10 heavy-duty nylon coil zipper with lock-ready sliders

• Zippered mesh pocket under the lid is pleated and measures 15.5" x 11.5"

• Fold-up "wings" on two interior walls provide amazing rigidity, providing shape and stability, allowing the bag to stand upright

• Full-length zippered mesh pockets on each wing to keep things organized. 23" x 4.5"

• Two tie-down sinch straps to secure packed contents

• Nose-load zippered end pocket with a floating back wall – if you need to over-pack the interior, the wall compresses into the end compartment. 12" x 8" x 6"

• Zippered exterior side pocket – great for last minute accessories, maps, etc. 11" x 4.75"

• Four-point center-grab handles are double-riveted and X-box stitch reinforced. Hook & loop padded handle wrap

• Extra deep lower compartment measures 24.5" x 14" x 6.5" and has the following features:

• Padded perimeter walls that allow oddly shaped items some flexibility when packing – easily capable of holding gear ranging from downhill ski boots to scuba fins

• Two moveable "shelves" give you total freedom to pack and secure your belongings the way you want to:

• 1) Perpendicular to the floor, preventing contents from shifting from end-to-end and crushing delicate items

• 2) Parallel to the floor, allowing ample room for odd-shaped items like scuba fins, mask & snorkel, etc.

• Access the lower compartment easily via a #10 heavy-duty nylon coil zipper with lock-ready sliders

• If this bag is still not big enough for you, unzip the floor that divides the upper/lower section, roll it up, then secure it in place with the two tie-down straps. Now you have one extra-large compartment measuring 24.5" x 14" x 14".

• Handles on both ends allow two-handed trunk-styled lifting into vehicles

• Recessed, locking telescoping trolley handle extends to a maximum height of 45" and can be shortened to 40.5". Find your balance point and hit the road!

• Privacy-mesh ID pocket on the bottom is sized to hold a business card

• Full-length skid rails on the bottom

• Recessed authentic inline skate wheels are hot-poured polyurethane - the quietest wheels on the concourse

• Seven points of contact with the ground help prevent the Mother Lode from falling forward when upright

• Interior is fully lined with high visibility burnt orange 210-denier nylon - finding small things are easier

• Photo-reflective corded zipper pullers for nighttime safety

• When used for airline travel, be sure to check with your airline for any weight limitations
