Placing Your First Order

Placing an order at eBags is easy. There's no need to create an account first. You will have done that once you've placed your first order online. eBags also accepts orders by phone and fax. However, we do apologize that at the current time we will be unable to process any PayPal orders over the phone. To fax or phone an order just follow the instructions below to add items to your shopping cart, then click the "phone" or "Fax/Mail" link located below the "Proceed to Checkout" button.

Finding Items

You will need to browse or search for the items you would like to order. A keyword search box is located in the green bar at the top every page of our store. If you prefer to browse through our product selection just click one of tabs at the top of the site to find a more detailed category listing. When you find an item that interests you click the "see details" link to go to the product detail page. Here you will find important information, such as the products features, available colors, quick stats, customer ratings, and testimonials.

Adding Items to Your Shopping Cart

When you are ready to purchase an item, first select a color and then click the "Add To Cart" button on the product detail page. This will take you to the shopping cart. If you wish to continue shopping just click any of the tabs at the top of the site or browse our suggested items list in the cart. You can access the contents of your Shopping Cart at any time by clicking the Your Cart link or icon at the top of every page of our Web site.

Proceed to Checkout

Take a moment to review all of the items you've placed in your Shopping Cart. Here you can update the quantity of your items, check the estimated arrival date, or clear your cart completely. If you decide that you don't want to purchase a particular item right away, click the "save for later" to move the item from your current Shopping Cart to the "Saved Items" list below. When you're ready to place your order click the "Proceed to checkout" button. You will be taken to the first page of the order form.

Signing In

Enter your e-mail address, indicate that you are a new customer, and click the "Continue" button. (Keep in mind that the e-mail address you provide here will be the only e-mail address to which we can send information about subsequent orders.) Do not fill in the password field. You will be asked to provide a password for your account later in the process.

Enter a Shipping Address

Tell us where you would like to ship your order. If you are shipping items to multiple recipients, click the "Ship to Multiple Addresses" link and add as many addresses as you like to your address book. If the item is a gift, you will have the opportunity to create a free Email Gift Card at the end of the order process. Please note: eBags does not currently ship to P.O. Boxes, APO's, or FPO's at this time, or to countries other than the U.S. and Canada.

Select a Shipping Method

Consider how quickly you would like to receive your order, and choose a shipping method. We will estimate shipment and delivery dates for you on the order form, and in the order confirmation e-mail that you will receive after placing your order.

Provide a Password and Method of Payment

First, let us know how you would like to pay for your order. eBags accepts American Express, Diners Club, Discover, MasterCard, Visa, Bill Me Later®, PayPal® and eBags Gift Certificates. If you're paying with a credit card, enter the number without spaces or dashes. If you're paying with Bill Me Later® or PayPal®, you will be prompted to input the appropriate information during the checkout process.

Next, please create a password with your account so that when you come back to eBags.com in the future, you can use the same shipping address and method of payment you provided during this first order. Make sure you write your password down somewhere so that you remember it the next time you place an order.

Review and Submit Your Order

Check the accuracy all of the information you provided and make any necessary adjustments. When you are ready, click the Place Your Order button to submit your order. Once you place your order, we will send you a confirmation e-mail message. We will send you another e-mail message at the time of shipment.
