"I was hoping it would have more easy access pockets on the outside. Other than that it is pretty tough and rugged back Pack." |

"I bought this item due to the high rating from other reviewers and the evident quality I could see. I was not disappointed when I got the pack! It is lightweight for its size and appears to be extremely well made. I am over 6 feet tall, and the ability to adjust for my height was a gigantic plus for me. The pack has all the pockets, storage I need and feels extremely comfortable for long hikes. The belt fits snugly anf the weight of the gear flows nicely from the pack and into the pelvic bones comfortably. I will plan on getting this pack again should the need arise!" |

"Really good quality and enough room to travel on a plane for a three day trip and strong enough to take on an overnight white water rafting trip. The only thing I would have liked to see is a couple of smaller storage pockets." |

"I used this pack on a "Rim to Rim" hike in Grand Canyon in October.Early into the hike my right shoulder strap began slipping,I had to continually pull it to adjust it as I was hiking. Most of the time I had to keep constant pressure on the strap with my right hand to keep it from slipping out, even with the top right shoulder strap adjusted. The same strap also became tangled several times in the plastic buckle. This added constant worry and discomfort to an already strenuous hike, as I was carrying over forty pounds of gear for five days. The buckle never held for more than a couple of steps before pulling thru the buckle. After the hike, I measured the right shoulder strap and found it to be between 1/8" and 1/16" narrower in width than the left shoulder strap on the pack. This would explain the "slipping" problem. I really enjoyed the High Sierra Sentinel 65 for its value and appearance. It also was comfortable to wear, and easy to pack. The unique color scheme made it more easily identified in a group of other backpacks. The only negative about this backpack was the right shoulder strap, and that seemed to be some kind of defect. It is a shame that a slipping strap could ruin a beautiful hike due to the constant worry that it caused. I would like to respectfully request a full refund, as I could not trust a replacement that might also have some kind of defect. Thank you in advance for your attention and I look forward to hearing from you." |
