"Pack is huge for a day pack. It would be great for long hike, but not great as a travel backpack. Organization is limited. Front pouch is totally disorganized and doesn't hold common items in any organized fashion. No great place for travel documents. Very frustrating to use without having to "root around" to find anything. Pack is very tall and does not appropriately fit under airline seat. I got a few reprimands from flight attendants about pack sticking out too far." |

"If your looking for a bag for school that will carry multiple books, a laptop plus all that other stuff like calculators, pens and pencils, flash cards, glasses, water or whatever- then this is a great choice. I like to have all my materials with me so I can look at anything at anytime. It makes for a heavy load but I'm ready for whatever. I've had problems with backpacks being large enough and more importantly, sturdy enough. The material this bag is made of, the way its stitched and designed- its taken everything I can throw at it. The internal frame helps handle the load. The shoulder straps don't dig into your shoulders. Just what I was looking for. Adequate size for college and sturdy enough to take the weight." |

I bought this bag for day hiking and it will carry everything you need for that. Now I am looking to start doing some overnight hiking. If you are looking to do some hiking that will require a tent and a sleeping bag, then you better get both in a very lightweight form to be able squeeze it in with your other items." |

"This bag is great! It has room for 3-4 days of travel, or the compression straps can be used for packing fewer things and holding everything in place. Havent got to use it for camping yet but will do so this weekend. Very comfortable, adjustable, and fits under your seat on the airplane." |
