"I bought this bag for my son who has started Kindergarten. It is big but not heavy so he can manage carrying it very well. It has adequate room for his school supplies and was given approval by his teacher who said his original backpack was to small to hold his daily folders. I like the hard outside because it keeps the contents dry in rain and snow and prevents them from being damaged. The shoulder straps are strong and do not slip off his shoulders and they also have many small straps on the main straps to hold a name keychain for identification. My son is very happy with it and said he got many compliments on it from other students. This is a good purchase and a unique item." |

"This backpack has a great WOW factor. I bought it for my 4-year-old son and both he and my 7-year-old think it is super cool. On the down side, it is really too big to fit in most school cubbies, considering it does not bend. The no bend factor is a plus if you are trying to keep contents from being damaged (as sometimes schoolwork is in a bendable pack.) One other negative is the single compartment. With no extra pockets/compartments its difficult to find smaller items such as pencils, once you drop them in. All in all, the quality is great and you cant beat the style. Ours has become more of a toy storage for their favorite Bionicles." |

"I bought this backpack for my five year old son. He loves Bionicles and was 100 percent thrilled with the appearance of this backpack. I was worried that it wouldnt be large enough to hold his school supplies. It is! School hasnt started yet, so we dont know how this will hold up. I wish we could find a lunch box like this." |
