"Fantastic bag! Although Im not what you would call an avid photographer, I travel almost every week for my job and look for photo ops all the time everywhere I go. I need a bag for my laptop and researched plenty. Since the camera section is customizable, you can really adjust it as you wish. I can keep my D60 with the 55 - 200 lens on, pack the 18 - 55 one on the side, add a small tripod, and add computer supplies all in the camera section of the bag. Once the camera is in the bag there seems to be a lot of space for it to move around, both laterally and vertically. Ive simply taken soft foam blocks (the kind you get in the box when you buy a new laptop) and placed them on top and on the sides of the camera body, which completely stops movement. The top holds a fair amount but wish it held more nevertheless its holds all my chargers, full size headphones, a book, and more.
The biggest fear I had with this bag is that it wouldnt fit under an airplane seat but even in an Embraer it fits well. Since I like to put the bag on top of my rollaboard while walking with it, Ive attached a separate strap on the top grab strap that I use to hook onto the top of the fully extended luggage handle so it doesnt fall off, which works well. I think the waist straps are useless (for me) but still hook them when the bag is on my rollaboard for added security. I like the side pocket for the laptop as its really simple to take out at security checkpoints and really appreciate the exterior water bottle pocket.
Great bag and it doesnt scream CAMERA INSIDE to those who dont know the LowePro logo." |

"Excellent backpack, very sturdy and fits well on body. Cushioned back and straps make backpack comfortable to travel at full weight through airports than with messenger bags. Perfect for travel and would highly recommend this for photographers and graphic designers.
Plenty of storage room at top to put in small travel items such as snacks, 1-2 reading books, phone, phone charger, laptop charger, wallet, etc. Has outside zipper to store important papers for easy and quick access.
Able to carry Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop with no problem.
Backpack was able to fit under large airplane seats pretty snugly leaving you no room for your feet to move around comfortably, may not fit on small planes but fits well in overhead bins.
The flap straps were used to attach a raincoat jacket or a light sweater." |
