"I would say that this really is well constructed with heavy duty stitching on the zipper tags and the zippers themselves are heavy duty as well so its a positive sign there as most of my notebook bags in the past have only lasted a short time before they went flat.
I like the pockets and the amount of places to put usb flash drive, external (2.5) hard drives, file folders (client data), cards, and pens.
The notebook comes out by releasing the two snaps on the front (dont know what theyre called but theyre plastic and pretty popular with backpacks..?) that are also heavy duty, and after releasing those snaps the notebook has an elastic ribbon (2 wide or so) with velcro on it that adheres to the notebook pocket - so its easy to get the notebook out in the freakin security gate at the airport as well as getting the notebook out easily at a clients office.
It has a nice (rather small - Ipod Nano/Zune 4-8-16GB) pouch with a hole to place the headphones down so you can zone out with tunes while waiting for the airplane to start boarding - dont know if Ill really use that, probably just put my cellphone there.
Theres also a nice pocket for placing your boarding pass in on the back side of the bag. Nice touches that I noticed and nothing on the bag seems chincy or cheap. Overall it is a good bag, on the big side - but just fine for me and my Thinkpad T400 (14) as I seem to carry around much more than the normal collection of junk.
The ONLY THING I wish they had on this bag, on the front zipper, would be a cord/strap/retractable cable that had a keyring on it for all my keys that I must carry around for the client offices I deal with. That would be great. I had another bag at one time that had this, and its missed." |
