"I bought this for my 6th grader who brings home LOTS of big books and binders from school everyday. We previously ordered a cute High Sierra one--but it was too small. No other backpack was big enough to fit her books, gym clothes, lunchbox, etc. This holds a LOT of stuff, but when it is not full, it doesn't overwhelm her (it doesn't look particularly large when she is wearing it). Exactly what she needed!"

"Bought this backpack as a business bag--picked it because it was rated to hold my 17" laptop (in a sleeve). It holds a ton of stuff, though I agree with another reviewer who said - if you don't carry that much - that the bag poofs out. I travel frequently for work, so my pack frequently holds about 9,000 pens and assorted office supplies, my e-reader or tablet, laptop and gear, phone, and sometimes even a change of clothes. I use this bag extensively and have since the day it arrived. Straps are nicely padded and mine is dark brown, so it stands out. Three separately zipped sections, side pockets for water bottles and nicely kitted out for the price. Great for older students who need to schlep around a lot of heavy books and/or laptop. It is starting to rip its seams around the laptop section. That's kind of a bummer because eventually it'll rip to the point that it's unusable. However, given the amount of use and abuse I've heaped on it and the number of miles it's traveled with me, it's held up relatively well. Eventually I'll be in the market for a replacement pack and would consider another adidas, though more likely I'll go with an ebags alternative."

"I think the product is good up to a certain point. It will be better if the material made with was of a better quality. It ripped at 3 months and I was expecting to least at least 9 months to a year"

"This was the second Adidas we bought. The first one at least made it through the school year before ripping along seams. This second one ripped with two months of use. The bottom ripped open and it is not useable. The warranty requires us to send it to California for repair or replacement - not worth the shipping expense. Liked the storage and load straps but not durable at all!"

"Very dependable backpack. Unfortunately my last one needed to be replaced because one strap broke. I have not had any problems with this one so far."

"If you fill the backpack up with books the plastic adjustment pieces on the straps will break. Poor design for an extra large backpack."

"The backpack is very spacious and looks kinds of cool. The main problem with it is that if you carry a small amount of items in the bag, it poofs out and makes the backpack look dumb. I usually will flatten the backpack against a wall but it still poofs out a lot."

"My son uses this as his school back pack, within a week it started to tear and now is completely ripped out on each side. Not durable at all and I would not consider paying for another, in fact he's still using this one since he knows how much I paid for it and doesn't want me to have to buy another!"
