"Overall this bag is great. Lots of pockets, good shoulder strap and so far, well made. My only problem is that I have really large laptop (17" Alien). It should fit based on the internal measurements, but the bag tapers inward toward the bottom of the bag. I can still fit my computer, but not in the padded area. If your bag is over 15" wide, then keep this in mind."

"I purchased the bag because it is very practical. I have a 40-minute commute to work. The size of the bag allows me to carry alot and it is comfortable. The shoulder strap is cushioned well. I don't have to worry about weather issues (such as rain or snow) since the bag wipes right off."

"I really like this bag. I used cheaper messenger bags for the first 2 years of college, and I finally decided to upgrade to a better quality bag. I do not carry my laptop to school right now, but this bag has a roomy laptop compartment in case I ever start bringing it. I have plenty of room for books & notes, and there also is enough space to hold personal items, so I do not have to carry a handbag as well. So far, I am pretty happy with the AmeriBag Velocity!"

"I bought this for my son, age 12, 6th grade. A true boy, not gentle on anything he owns, but this bag has held up through most of the school year, and he thinks it looks great. He carries tons of books and work with him all day, and the bag is still going. Highly recommended."
