"We bought 2 of these bags for our month-long trip to China. The bags endured 12 flights and regular handling at hotels and on tour buses. We are very pleased with our purchase! Since we were given a weight limit of 44lbs for all of our intra-China flights, a lightweight and excellent durability were our biggest requirements. This luggage worked beautifully! And it stood up to the worst abuse! Handles on 3 sides of the luggage simplified moving it on/off luggage carts. The spinners worked well on carpet as well as flat surface floors. "Just got back from a 2week trip from Australia and used this bag for the 1st time. Overall, it went OK. The places we visited were primarily in the metro areas with the exception of flying up to Brisbane and staying on the coast. Rule of thumb: expect they'll have some "marks" on the outside...no problem. Tho, the only thing that was damaged was "one" of the double zippers on the front pocket. It may have gotten jammed. I personally didn't think it's in issue. I normally would slide either some slim books/mags/umbrella/flipflops..items that I wouldn't care if some bag handler got "ichy-fingers". PROS: Roomy inside the belly of bag; side mesh pockets on eachside; large translucent zippered and a mesh zippered compartment on door side. CONS: The spinners are wonderful, however, must have strong wrist / forearm while moving this full luggage. I thought the handle could be more sturdy. I bought this size to match it's mini carry-on version in purple. So, overall, since this size is without a zipper and I could deal with the handle thing..it serves my needs.
