"The best part is that it is so light that even I, a senior citizen, can manage it on the plane. Its wheels have remained very stable, even when it has been checked luggage. The only thing is that the outside has been scratched by baggage handling, but it doesn't show at a distance."

"Some international flights limit the weight of carry-on bags, so we needed super lightweight carry-on bags. These fit the bill. We still love our old Victorinox bags, but the Antlers are much, much lighter. They roll super easily. I'm not in love with the clam-shell form factor, but they are super light. The jury is still out on durability. They just seem fragile to us, but that is what comes with the super light feature we need. I used mine as a foot rest for a while -- it seemed to buckle under the weight of my feet, but it sprang back. I think I'll just use it to hold my stuff, not my feet. I would not feel comfortable subjecting these bags to the rigors of checked luggage, but that's not why we bought them. It is the lightest weight bag we could find, and it meets our needs."

"I got my husband the blue version, while I got the red one. We used it for the first time this past week, on a lengthy flight from Texas to Banff. We are totally pleased with the appearance, and equal functionality. It withstood brutal gate-check handling for the smaller planes, was extremely easy and distinct to spot from the other bags, was stable on the wheels even when packed FULL, the wheels glided with ease, and the handle extended/retracted quickly. "Great suitcase. We wanted something hard sided, but not too bulk or heavy. It is very light, hopefully it will last. In an airport terminal or other composite surface it just glides along side of you. I haven't tried putting another bag on top of it yet."
