"This tassel key-chain is actually a darker color compared to this photo (which looks pink or lavender to me), and has a metallic gold sheen on it that is not very apparent in this picture. I am very fond of purple; I am very happy with the color of this tassel. The key ring itself is separate from the tassel and clip. It is very solid, as is the hardware for the clip portion. The hardware itself is slightly less dark than bronze (or perhaps a bit more "brassy" than bronze). The tassel and ring are slightly longer than 8 inches when it is all laid flat, and the narrow part of the tassel (right below the clip, where it is secured) is about 3/4 inches wide. The tassel "blooms" from there, of course, so it may wind up being much wider over time. The leather is very soft and supple, and the color is on both sides of the leather. This is a very understated, elegant key-chain. I am very happy with this purchase."
