"I have a waterproof olympus camera that has drowned twice and has been repaired. It's only a mater of time until it drowns again (and it's out of warranty) so I bought this bag to protect it. The camera takes great underwater pictures without this bag. I used the bag about a half dozen times on my last trip to Hawaii on some great days and some not so great days. With the bag, only about 1 in 7 pictures turn out. The bag cuts down the light entering the camera, so the shutter speed slows down. The result is that most images are blurry. Even using the flash (yes you can use a flash underwater) the images are often blurry. The ones that aren't blurry usually aren't nearlt as crisp and clear as they are without the bag. I'll probably only use it (it I ever use it again) in bright sunny patches where there is no sediment in the water. The last two times I used the bag, there were a half dozen drops of water on the camera when I pulled it out of the bag -- not a problem for my waterproof camera, but potentially dangerous for a regular one. The bag comes with instructions that tells you to watch for bubbles to determine if there is a leak, but I saw no bubbles. Since it was only a few drops inside, there probably would not have been bubbles."

"We brought this on our recent honeymoon to photograph all of our underwater excursions. It worked fantastically, as we were able to get all the pictures we wanted without having to pay for the facilities' "professional pictures". The one negative was when I received it in the mail the edge was a bit frayed. I didn't have time to return it before our trip so I just hoped for the best and it worked fine. I'm just hoping that it now holds up for a while. Also, I'd suggest getting the larger size. I have a Casio Elixim, relatively small, but I was unable to zoom out during snorkeling or swimming with dolphins. Overall, a great buy!!"

"Just got back from a cruise, used the Aquapac on a rivertubing excursion and in the ocean with no issues. It worked great so- no more disposable water cameras for me!"

"-it is difficult to get a clear picture underwater. -If the bag is not flat up against the lens (wrinkles/waviness) your picture will be distored. -Use in beach water causes bag to loose its transparency, then it's difficult to clean."

"I have a Sony Ciber Shot, the case is a little slim and the plastic makes it difficult to get into the pouch, other wise the case does the job instead of purchasing a water proof camera."
