"A perfect travel bag, that can hold your rain jacket, camera, souvenir purchases and items you'd normally have in a purse, and it can be slung over one shoulder, or for more tricky spots, hung across your front for safety. It replaces my purse when traveling around. Also has a place for a water bottle and umbrella, and an easy access back, zippered pocket for your passport. Very lightweight, sturdy, rain-resistant. Unfortunately, my dog ate through it recently to get a packet of M & M's, so I had to purchase a new one. Nice colors, too. Best travel bag I've found, and I'm a bag-aholic."

"My complaint is with design and quality of the Messenger bag. I first wrote in February 2010 to Baggallini and got NO REPLY. I wrote again last week. In February, my complaint was the cheap quality of the mesh for the water bottle holder--it tore the second time I used it for a water bottle. The same low-weight, poor quality mesh serves as a divider in the front compartment, so I try not to put my car keys there for fear of ripping it. Then I took it on a month-long trek and saw some serious flaws in the design. The hidden pocket is misplaced. If one wears the bag to ones front, the pocket lays across ones mid-back, accessible only by pickpockets. If one wears the bag to ones back, the pocket bends across the top of the shoulder. Worn to the front, the straps heavy metal buckle is exactly on top of the shoulder. You have a choice of wearing it close in and having the buckle riding the muscle near your neck or wearing the strap further from your neck. Then the buckle rides on the bones of your shoulder. Wearing this bag for 12+ hours a day is next to unbearable. Within a few days of my month-long trip, I bought something to pad the strap. It didn't help and by the end of the trip, my shoulder would start hurting as soon as I put the bag on. I carried only two heavy items--camera and 16 ounce water bottle. Carrying a guide book was out of the question with each new city, I tore out pages to carry. The ties in the zipper pulls quickly came untied will not stay re-tied one has been lost as a result. I wonder why the factory doesn't melt the ends with heat?? I am very, very unsatisfied with this bag."

"This bag is perfect for carrying all the necessities for daily errands, bike rides, or travel and sightseeing. The across the body strap allows for hands free and secure use. I liked it so well, I also ordered a second color. The size is great for travel - holding maps, small binoculars when needed, camera, bottled water in mesh outside pocket (if not too large) or a small folding umbrella, and various other items. The zippered and inconspicuous pocket at the back is a great place to stash plane tickets and passport. The cell phone sleeve in the strap is handy to reach and to hear the ring in noisy areas. It is very lightweight and is not so large that it weighs too much when packed full. However, it is too small for my 13.3 in. screen laptop. Netbooks would be fine but the bag is not padded to protect electronics."

"This bag was just what I was looking for when taking our last vacation. I love that it is smaller than a "normal" backpack but is easy on the back and very comfortable to carry around all day with the strap across your body. I carried it around the magic kingdom all day - it has plenty of room for the essentials for the typical family. I LOVE the hidden pocket in front, great for your phone or bus passes/tickets, or even money - it is very well made and secure. The side pocket held my camera, and it's easy to twist the bag around and get to what you need when you need it. I only have ONE issue with this bag, otherwise it would be perfect. The point where the strap meets your neck needs some sort of cover, as it will rub you there. A minor annoyance, but I will probably make my own cover so it's more comfortable next time we take a trip."

"The quality is excellent and the organization great! I used it all summer and love the crossover strap. When it is dirty I just throw it in the wash and it looks like new."

"This bag has been a godsend, because it's lightweight design enables me to carry what I need high on my back, while providing a little pouch in front for things to which I need quick access (such as bus tokens, ATM card, castle card, etc.). All of this is essential because I have a medical condition that makes it very difficult for me to walk. Before using this bag, I could barely make it down the street to and from the bus stop with the tote I was carrying. Thanks for a great product."

"This bag is a *gem*. I carry it every day, and am constantly impressed with its convenience and capacity: I can fit three or four trade-size paperback books in the big compartment (or one or two hardbacks) and a steno notebook; the front pocket carries incidentals like mints, lip balm, and my inhaler. Behind that pocket is an organization panel that fits pens, a small stapler, a pocket knife, post-it flags, wallet and checkbook, etc. The side pockets hold my sunglasses (in the flapped velcro pocket) and a bottle of water or pop (in the mesh pocket). There's also a flat pocket in the back (against the wearer's back) into which I put a fold-up tote bag for the days when I have unexpected bundles to carry; it could easily accommodate a flatter wallet, some cash, or passport to thwart pickpockets. The phone pocket in the strap (not *on* it, *in* it) is extremely convenient, and has saved me some missed calls because the phone is much easier to get to than in other bags. Overall, an excellent design, and I love the color--I got it in purple, which is a nice darker purple, not a loud shade. My daughter liked mine so much she got one in black."

"Bag hangs really well off my shoulder, across the body, instead of pulling down where handbags stuffed for travel usually do. Looking forward to taking it on next trip. Not sure the cell phone pocket works on the strap for me, maybe it will for IPod, so only wish is that the cell phone arrangement was different, otherwise, fabulous bag, roomy, lightweight, looks good, comfortable...."

"Just bought my third Bagalini since 2008...this being 2012. It definitely does the job. I carry a lot of stuff and the cross breast styling makes the load less unbearable. I really need to lighten up but it seems to be impossible. I use it daily and especially useful when traveling. It went to China with me in 2008! It has also been on three cruises and is looking for a fourth one next year! Obviously I love it....when it is too heavy, my hubby has carried it and no one looks "funny" at him!!!!"
