"I use this iten when I take the train into work during the week. My ride is about an hour and a half, and since it begins at 5am, I like to sit down and go back to sleep. The train seats do not recline, and I'm a smidge too short to put my head on the top of the seat. So I got this to put my head back and still keep my neck from getting stiff. It has helped with the neck pain, but hasn't totally solved the problem, however, I'm convinced it's the seat and not the pillow. When I use it on the bus, or at home, it more than does the job. I usually fall asleep in whatever position I'm in. Two issues to consider with a stuffed pillow. One, it doesn't compress down at all. This isn't an issue for me because I don't carry much in my carryons. And when i do international tavel, my bag has a bungee strap and it fits in there. Two, the stuffing will get thinner where your neck is, and get pushed into the ends as time wears on. All it needs is a good fluff, and its back to normal."
