"This is a very convenient bag and goes with me everywhere. The best 2 features for me are that it has the passthrough that slides over the handle of your wheeled suitcase, and that it slides under airplane/bus seats. The other thing I love is that it's rigid enough to stand up and maintain it's shape on it's own, and that the pockets are all gusseted. I like to get into my hotel or wherever, plop the bag down, and open all the pockets--they "hang" open at maybe 35-40 degrees, but the gussets keep them there, and your stuff from falling out. Now all your stuff is easily accessible. My 13" laptop fits perfectly in its sleeve, standing up against the back wall of the bag. I open the top of my duffle, and can slide my computer up and out very easily. What else... it is pricey, but if you travel a lot, the durability and well thought out features make it easily worth it. I looked at the briggs transcend version of this bag, which looks cooler in my opinion, but felt significantly less sturdy. My suitcase is the 1st generation transcend, and feels closer to the baseline in build quality. It has been rock solid over 5 years and 500+ days of travel. I'm sure the newly designed transcend are still good quality, but I know they're trying to make them lighter and they just don't seem as sturdy. I'm told lots of people like the wheeled totes, but I'm a small duffle bag guy (lighter, more space efficient) so I hope they keep making these."

"I bought this bag for a recent cross-country train trip leg of a trip to California to avoid having to check luggage on a flight to catch the train. Performed very well and met my needs perfectly. Would have been nice if it had been a rolling bag but I liked it anyway."

"I have one of these that is several years old, but my wife has claimed it for her own, so I purchased this one for me. This is an outstanding travel tote and could easily hold several days worth of clothing and other necessary items. All of the luggage that I own and use for both business and personal travel is from Briggs & Riley and there is no better luggage for the money, especially considering it has a lifetime warranty."

"Outstanding quality and organization in an understated hi-end tote. I actually payed full price for this, so I would have a matching Briggs and Riley tote to go with my other BR luggage. I am in Hong Kong now, and took this on a TINY Air Canada Beechcraft 1900 jet for a connecting flight, and it fit under the seat. No complaints except for the price."

"I travel a lot, and wanted to get a smaller bag for the trips that involve regional jets. I own the 19" BRX bag and love it, but it gets gate checked on a regional jets and I've missed connections because of that. I used it on a four day business trip and it held all the clothing and toiletries I needed (used a Booq backpack for my netbook, phone etc). That includes two pairs of shoes, yoga gloves and socks, workout clothes, PJs, travel slippers, a travel hair dryer (some of the places I stay aren't very swanky), make-up, undies, dress pants and blouses. I was pleasantly shocked by how much fit in there and how easy it was to carry. I may never return to a wheeled bag."
