"I've had a heck of a time finding a top-zip laptop bag with only one strap that doesn't scream "there's a laptop inside; steal me." Everything either has a flap like a messenger bag, has 2 straps like a satchel that cut into your shoulder something awful, or is a horribly plain early 90's era ugly thing. This one at least fits those criteria, though I do wish it came in a color other than black. It fits my MacBook pro well, and the expansion feature is definitely nice, as well as the lighter colored lining (though it is more mint green than seafoam, but whatever). However, I can't figure out where the supposed iPad/tablet pocket is -- is that supposed to be the outside, non-closing pocket? Because besides the padded laptop area and the main area, that's the only place with any type of padding whatsoever where it could fit, but I sure wouldn't trust my iPad into an open pocket. Also, there are some sort of nylon-type covers where the strap attaches to the bag. I suppose they make the bag look sleek, but those plus the width of the strap make it actually kinda hard to get into the bag because the fern strap won't fold down out of the way. Don't get me wrong, this is generally a well-designed bag and has all the features that really matter to me, but those few flaws are all that keep this from being a perfect bag for toting around my laptop and other items for work."

"Overall, a nice bag. I was looking for something for my new 12" macbook Air that was a bit nicer looking than the traditional black laptop bag. This sort of fits the bill but is still, basically, a black laptop bag. It's bigger than I need for a 12" computer but should be fine for the 14-15" it was designed for - I'd love this in a "small" size. It's durable and still looks nice- some creasing in the top plastic-y portion at the top by the zipper but other than that, it still looks new after 6 months of use a few times a week plus a few multi-day business trips as a carryon / conference bag. The interior organization is disappointing - there are two small zipper pouches that snap onto the main bag frame that i'd hoped to use for my laptop's power brick and cord, but they are too small to really use for that, and were a pain to snap on and keep on (and got in the way when filled). So I'm not using those and basically just stuffing my computer into the padded sleeve side and my power cord and brick into the other side. The outer zipper pocket is useful for small items, i like the key holder and use that often, and the open pocket on the other side is useful to stash a few printouts. Overall I'm happy I got this bag but am still looking for something a bit smaller and nicer looking - this one will remain an excellent choice as a carryon and as a conference bag."

"I was searching for a smaller profile, laptop compatible, chic commuter bag. This Case Logic was the ideal solution! It's lightweight and very slim - even when stuffed and the expansion zipper is opened. That's right. It has a 'hidden' zipper just like a piece of quality luggage to use when you need to pack a few extra files or books. It was weather resistant throughout a snowy & rainy winter, and easy to clean when I accidentally spilled a bit of coffee. My only issue is you can't carry a water bottle without shoving it inside and crossing fingers it doesn't tip over. I've done it and the bag doesn't feel bulky so I know the addition of an internal bottle 'loop' or holder is feasible. Otherwise this bag is a 10."

"Really like the bag, large enough for everything, no need to carry anything else. Love that the interior is light green, enables you find items quickly. The two attached small zipped compartments are great. Can't say anything bad, just remember where you put things with all the pockets!"
