"Best supplemental / laptop bag on the market. Period. PROS: 1) Separate super-heavily padded laptop compartment. Ditch your sleeve. 2) Bag is stable. Set it on the bottom and it stays put. 3) Stable is important because you're going to put it on the security table, reach down on either side, and unzip the entire bag so that the compartment with the laptop can be laid flat on the conveyer belt while the rest of the bag (still attached of course) hinges flat as well. A Tumi I tried had the zippers for the clamshell unzip from the top, and it's a three hand deal to hold the bag steady, then unzip the clamshell to lay the two compartments flat. 4) A second large compartment is divided by a half panel zippered pocket so you can stuff in magazines and folders and they don't get in the way of anything else. Or you can do what I do and put your netbook there 5) The second half of that large compartment is ample for a couple of pouches containing my cords, mouse, phone charger, and all the other little electronic oddments I need on my average business trip. There's also enough room for a small purse or a box lunch or a sweater. Not a whole change of clothes, but a few extra bits. 6) Then there is a front pocket that is large enough for an Ereader or an iPad, plus some plushly padded compartments that fit (in my case) a glass case, my Blackberry, and my card case. 7) A key hook - one of life's small but important pleasures 8) A loose zippered pocket on the very front that is perfect for your boarding pass and ID. You could fit a passport in it if need be. 9) Well padded grab handle 10) And finally, the MUST have for any supplemental luggage, the sleeve on the back that allows you to drop the bag on top of your rollaboard handle. CONS: 1) Shoulder straps could be more comfortable. There Tumi kicks luggage butt."

"I bought this for my boyfriend, who started traveling 1-2x/mo for a new position. He absolutely loves it. He uses it daily to carry his laptop and some personal items. The checkpoint friendly feature allows for minimal fuss when going through tsa security. The sleeve in the back makes it easy to slip onto rolling luggage handles while holding the backpack neatly on top. Last month his car was broken into and the robbers stole the (mostly empty, no electronics inside) backpack..I ordered a replacement bag for my boyfriend because he loved it so much. One minor complaint. On the first backpack, one of the zipper pulls of the checkpoint zipper (the one that allows the backpack to lay flat) somehow fell off the zipper. It has a little metal ring on the pull, but there is a teeny tiny gap, if any (hard to remember bc it's gone now) on the actual (metal) zipper. I have no idea how it fell off and couldn't figure out to reattach it. Oh well those robbers have a bag with a missing zipper pull. **Definitely highly recommended** I want one for myself, but I'm afraid it will look too big on my body"

"This bag has many pockets to store items. It holds everything I need to carry to work and back. I have not had a chance to travel with it, so I can't speak to the ease of the zip open feature. I was disappointed with the tiny amount of leather on the bag. The description made it sound like the facing was all leather, but only part of the handle and one trim spot have leather."

"I have been using this bag for about a year now. I travel 50-75 of the month. So it gets a fair amount of use. I fly frequently and think this bag is great at the checkpoints! The thing I like the best is the way the bag splits open. I just unzip the rear section that holds my laptop, lay the bag flat on the conveyer belt, and off it goes. On the other side, I can just grab the top handle and walk off. Since the zippers are on the left and right side and zip "up" from the bottom of the bag, you can grab the top handle and run. All of the other bags I have seen at the airport split open the opposite way. Which seems silly to me. The only things I might change, are use more sturdy zippers. Overall a great bag."

"This laptop bag is superb. I was able to quickly open up the side zippers and lay the whole bag flat on the conveyor without taking the laptop out. Quickest and easiest I've disassembled and reassembled myself going through the x-ray machines since 9/11. Great design, comfortable to wear, and easily slips on/off the handles of a roller bag. The various pockets and organization features are well thought out and work great when pulling the bag out from under the airplane seat in front of you to dig something out for use."

"If you are professional/business traveler, I think this has the cleanest, most professional look of the laptop backbacks, within this price range. The security scan feature is good and so is the fact that the bag can be stacked on a luggage handle."

"I bought this originally for airport travel, but have used it as a laptop case as well to bring my laptop and work home. Only used it once for travel, but it worked very well. I unzipped it quickly to lay it flat to be scanned and zipped it back together in no time. I am happy with the quality and holds a ton of stuff. I love it!"
