"I¿m disappointed with the design and especially durability. The design issue is that the U shaped top lid is very hard to unzip, especially with one hand. While commuting on a train it is difficult to quickly grab things out of the bag while holding on in a moving train. But worse is the durability. The zipper has jammed at one point where the lining is coming apart. The straps also have started to come apart at seams. I should have returned this bag when I saw the issue with the lid and now regret that I did not."

"I was thrilled when my Claire Chase backpack showed up. The styling was unique and exactly what I was looking for. As a matter of function, it's also fairly well appointed. I'm not a leather expert but it's obvious that the thick, soft hide is very high quality. I couldn't have been any happier. I use this bag daily, to and from the office and regularly on travels by air and train. Given the price of this product, I am a bit disappointed with the overall durability of the internal stitching. The lining of the main flap has separated creating a rather unsightly appearance. The foam padding of the flap is protruding inside the bag and doesn't inspire one as being particularly well made. Not withstanding the issues of internal composition, the rest of this bag should last for a very long time. Unfortunately, I will have to replace this with another product this year."
