ClaireChase Uptown Bak-Pack 

"This bag has been ideal for our purposes; it has enough compartments to allow good organization, but not so many that we "lose" things because we can't remember which pocket they are in. The pockets are all nicely lined, and the main compartment is large enough for even a large coat. Especially appreciate the zippered pocket on the back...when travelling it makes a secure, discreet place to carry cash, passports, etc. The bag looks, feels, and even smells like a quality leather bag should. The only quibble, easily resolved, is the need to punch some extra holes in the straps; without doing so the bag rides more like a butt pack than a back pack on most people. Overall, I'm quite happy with our purchase and would not hesitate to recommend it to others looking for a mid-sized bag for daily use by hand,shoulder or back carry."

"I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my husband to use as a camera bag. We are very pleased with it. Just came back from a two-week trip to the sequoias and redwoods. More than served us. If we had a complaint it would be that there be more holes in the shoulder straps as they were too long. We found someone with a leather punch and added a few. By hanging so low, it put pressure on his shoulders and lower back. Once we put the holes in it was great. He really likes the rugged look as he is a biologist/ecologist."

"I purchased this in Red as a useful stylin' accessory to accompany my new carry-on way of travelling. It does have some weight to it, and I do have to get some more holes punched into the straps to adjust to my 5' 4" frame. It is a nice quality and it has a good stylish look to it in lots of colors . "I had originally planned on purchasing the ClaireChase Jumbo Laptop backpack but I loved the look of the of the Uptown Bak-Pack in the distressed brown. I had both packs in my cart for several days trying to decide which one to purchase. Well the choice ended up being made for me. The Jumbo pack was removed from the cart as being temporarily out of stock. I was afraid the Uptown might be too small but it turned out to be the perfect size. It holds my laptop, Franklin daily planner, my organizer bag, plus an assortment of smaller items. The bag is perfect for everyday use and I am very glad that I purchased it. It was a wonderful Christmas present to myself."
