"I use this bag not only for my laptop, but rather simply as an everyday handbag to go to work. It's a bit too massive, so I feel awkward in public transport, and there are a few little flaws on it which is the fault of the postal service which delivered the bag improperly (it got wet), but its fantastic organization beats all the other inconveniences. It goes well with most of my clothes, and its size is actually ok for me, because I'm tall."

"At first i was concerned that the bag is too BIG- it seems more like luggage than a handbag/briefcase, however i did get it because i need something bigger. I teach classes and need to carry my laptop as well as files and folders, and this bag does it all. i now carry a little clutch purse inside of it which i can take into a store or to go to lunch and use the BIG bag for a mobile office. It does work very well as a mobile office, i keep everything I am working on it in it, including my macbook air 11". There is room for the power supply, binders, files, my smoothie, etc. The outside flap is a perfect spot to put cell phone and other things that i need easy access to, but i tend to keep all that in a small dainty purse that goes inside. I find it BIG to carry, however it does hold everything in a well organized way, and is very attractive. I got the black instead of the red so that i don't need to 'relocate' if i wear pink or something that doesn't go well with red. I am pleased with the purchase and it consolidates several bags into one."

"I exchanged the 17-inch version of this bag for the smaller 15.6 inch bag. I simply love it! This is the right size for my not-so-small laptop and leaves me extra space for the adapters, notebook and other accessories. When traveling for business with air travel, I can simply use the front pocket instead of carrying a purse, or can even put a small purse inside. The leather is durable and beautiful. I highly recommend this item."

"I was searching for a professional looking leather, well organized laptop tote--big enough for accessories and multiple files/papers, but not too big and clunky. I am fairly pleased--Nice soft pebbly leather (though a few imperfections were noted)and excellent space and organization. I don't mind the front pocket only having a magnetic snap closure--keep small umbrella and other items there that are very easy to access quickly. Full zip top keeps everything inside quite secure. Love the fact that it stands easily on its own, and the metal 'feet' and plastic overlay on the bottom corner piping should really be helpful in minimizing early wear and tear. Two things I wish were a bit different: 1)Some pictures show a small velcro flap over the padded computer section, but mine does not have that--probably easier in/out for airport security and only a problem if the bag were to fall over while open, but nonetheless I would have liked that. 2) The 1"x2" 'Clark and Mayfield' metal plaque on the front pocket is silly looking. This clearly is not a 'designer' item!"

"I purchased a red version of this bag as a gift for my wife for Christmas - it was a hit! The bag is well constructed and made from 100 percent leather. Her 15.6" Dell laptop fits safely inside with plenty of room for files, accessories, and other needs. The inside is nicely lined and there are tons of specialty pockets & organizational features. "This is what I was looking for to use as a purse and as a laptop bag for those trips when I need to limit my bags to 1 personal item and one carry on. There is an inside zip pocket on the back side of the bag for personal items, and to secure car keys and airport parking shuttle ticket so they don't get lost or in the way during the trip. There is a small outside zip pocket for quick access to my wallet, phone, and ID--which is helpful when going through airport security. Inside is divided in 3 sections with the center being the padded laptop holder. My liquids baggie and Kindle go in one side and there are several storage pockets for mouse/charger, folder, notepad, etc. on the other side. I agree with other reviewers in that I wish the front flap wasn't a snap closure. I'd rather it were a top zip closure instead, but I haven't had anything fall out of the outer pocket. I used that pocket for non-essential stuff that would normally go in my purse like gum, lipstick, compact. The bag is heavy after I put everything in it. But it has a suitcase handle strap across the back so the bag slides easily onto my carry on rolling suitcase handle to sit atop the roller bag. I wish the shoulder straps were just a bit longer to make it easier to sling over my shoulder. With that said, I am pleased with the bag. I only point these things out because this information is what I was looking for in reviews."
