CODi Phantom CT3 Checkpoint Tested Laptop Bag 

"Phanton CT3 is a great laptop case. It quickly unfolds and easily comes back together after going through airport security. It is durable and looks professional. Good organization (multiple compartments)in the front pocket which holds all of the essentials. The only change I would make is a better place for my laptop power adaptor."

"Overall I am satisfied with this bag. I found out after purchase that Canadian security does not accept the Checkpoint Tested bags and I still have to take out the laptop. Works great at US checkpoints. I fit all my accessories, paper/notebooks and extra stuff just fine. I wish the bag was stiffer so that it would stand up by itself. I have to lean it against something or else it falls over."

"I was skeptical but the bag passed right through TSA security and has never been challenged. This greatly reduces the workload. The computer compartment is well padded but just a hair small for my Panasonic CF-52 - I can make it work. Would like to see a bit more storage on the non-computer side since I travel with a host of gadgets, chargers and such. I can't fit my NC headsets in there along with other stuff. If I was going to redesign the bag I would add an optional zipper to close the two halves together securely. There are only straps and velcro now."

"The checkpoint features of the bag have always worked well at the airport and the bag perfectly fits my Sager 15.4 laptop. It doesn't store a great deal of accessories but you can easily get things like a spare battery, charger, cables and the like in there."

"The bag was very close to my expectation. I was very careful to look at a lot of other options before choosing the Codi CT3. The best feature is the ease through TSA checkpoints. It has been flawless so far(4 times). There were no delays or questions at any of the airports when I semt the laptop through without removing it from the bag. Unquestionably the quickest and least amount of hassle ever. The other strong features: excellent protective padding for the laptop, military grade ballistic nylon, good organization in the non-laptop section, a well designed back slide-over sleeve for the handle on my luggage, a front zipper free stash pocket to clip my cell phone on or to temporarily hold keys or change. The shoulder strap is the most comfortable one I've owned. Two negatives: 1. The side strap/buckle system is not all that aesthetic but it's pretty functional...it would look nicer if the two straps(male/female) were sewn into the sections at the same level instead of at a steep angle. As a person in the luggage industry...I still don't understand that one... 2. The storage could be a little wider but it forces me to prioritize and organize. The positives win by far."

"Very well organized. Effective pockets for storage. Have not yet had a chance to use the airport "don't have to take your computer out of the bag" feature, but I will be travelling in early April 2009, so we'll see.........."

"The CODi Checkpoint Tested Laptop Bag performs exactly as advertised. Occasionally I have to "school" someone from TSA about this being an approved carrier, but that is infrequent, evidently due to their current training. However I do occasionally get complemented for properly placing the laptop as indicated in the compartment. This seems like a small thing to not have to take the laptop out of the existing carrier, but frequent flyers know how frustrating it is to fiddle with a computer at the security checkpoint. Nice product!"
