"This backpack got me through a full semester of undergraduate classes, taking up to 3 classes a day. It looks no worse for the wear, and managed to hold all of my books, a laptop when I needed it, and sometimes a bento box or other lunchbox. I used one of the side pockets for a water bottle, and the other for my umbrella, and they worked beautifully. The seams still are all holding, and I love the color contrast of the electric blue interior - it makes finding things in the pack easier."

"My son uses this backpack for school every day. It's very sturdy and holds his many books comfortably. Many backpacks were too small for him, but there's no danger of having to carry extra books with extra roomy pack. Only criticism is the loud plaid. I wish it was a smaller pattern with more subtle colors."

"My old Dakine backpack is still in great condition but my new laptop won't quite fit in it. I like Dakine backpacks because they offer good padding and pockets and organization. This will be used mostly when traveling and I wanted one with separate laptop compartment to make it easier when going through security at the airport. My 15 inch laptop fits in this one with room to spare, and the laptop pocket is nicely padded with a soft lining. I got the gray, which turned out to be more of a dark gray than I expected. It's a bit masculine looking, but I'll add some fabric paint decorations to jazz it up. :) So far it has only been used for one weekend trip but I'm pleased with it."

"This is a great book bag! I use it for pharmacy school, and have a lot of books. The only drawback is that I wish it had adjusters on the side, so it could expand (it only holds a computer, 3 inch binder, and one inch binder at the most). The laptop sleeve is very nice! My MacBook fits perfectly, and is protected very well. I have received many compliments on this bag, but wish I wouldn't have gotten the red color. It's a little offensive with how bright it is, but the picture online looked more muted. I have used this pack also for travel, and it holds a lot, and keeps it well organized."
