"LOVE this bag! I was looking for a bag that was versitle and padded to be able to carry my DSLR for an evening event. This was the PERFECT bag the padded laptop area holds my camera and protects it for an evening out and still stylish. I also got this bag with the hopes that it would hold my macbook pro however the zipper cuts off the length just barely. So it was not able to hold my 15" macbook pro. But I do use this everyday as a purse and for that moment where I don't want to lug around my professional photography equipment I can place my camera in the padded area for great safety. The extra pockets were perfect to put keys in one place and the side pockets are the perfect size to hold an iphone! Very great quality bag from Dakine I wouldn't trust anything else to carry my equipment (I currently own 3 dakine bags all for photography and laptops). You not only pay a great deal for the style and price of the bag but for the quality! 5 stars!"

"After about 3 years of solid use, I wore a hole in the back of my last Dakine tote bag (note, this wasn't a seam failure, but rather the material wearing thin from rubbing up against my leg). I am rough on bags, since I just stick with one and use it everyday (no worshipping the COACH goddess here), including as my carry-on during air travel, so I am very impressed with the quality of Dakine bags. When it was time to replace my last one, there was no question I was going for another Dakine. This time, I chose the Ella Laptop Tote in the style Jasmine. It reminds me of Hawaii and I've already gotten several compliments. These bags are very functional (plenty of pockets and all in the right places) and a great value for the money, so I highly recommend."

"Nice bag, but yes, the pockets come undone with a flick. All four of them. I wouldn't take this on a crowded bus full of pickpockets, but it works great if you have a short walk to work and want to take your laptop and lunch in one bag."

"This is my first laptop tote. Love carrying my MacBook Pro 13.1" in this stylish bag. I especially like the Shelba pattern and the contrast interior lining. The design is right except as others have commented, the exterior pockets are not that secure - especially the sides. The magnetic fasteners are not strong so I can't trust that it will securely hold the flaps in place. It would have been nice to have at least one side deep enough to hold a water bottle. I was also looking for a lighter bag but I could't pass this one up since it was so cute - well worth the price I paid for it. I can't comment on it's durability yet since I've only had it a week."

"Love it! I like the pattern and colors. I love the roominess. It holds at least 2 books and a notebook so it's perfect for my needs. If I need my ipad I can put it in the cusioned interior pocket and feel like it's protected. I love the exterior pockets for my pencils and accessories. My only complaint... the main compartment could be a bit wider for more books to fit, but it is a "laptop" tote, so it's good for it's designated use. Very cute!"

"This was a great bag for the price! I first used it on a business trip and it worked well. The only drawback was that the latches on the front two pockets came undone whenever the bag brushed against something. However, I never lost anything I stored in those pockets."
