"My first dakine bag was a Dakine Campus SM, after two years, the zipper started to split. They replaced it with no hassle because of their awesome lifetime warrenty. I ended up getting a Dakine Explorer as a replacement. I've had the replacement for another two years with no problems. Unfortunatly, my cat decided to claim it as his and sprayed it. I had to toss it and order a new bag...my go to choice was another Dakine Explorer. The bag holds up no problem under tough use. I was a film student (just graduated, yea!), and it was common place for it to hold my editing laptop, my ipad, cords for both, a notebook, plus various camera equipment (gaff tape, digital recorders, mics, xlr, etc.). Everything stayed safe and sound. My only real problem is that the adjustable straps that run from the shoulder straps to the bottom of the bag tend to slip a bit if you have excessive weight in the bag. My experience with dakine has lead me to purchase the Dakine Mission Photo Bag to hold my camera and accessories, in addition to my explorer bag. Dakine makes great stuff, and better yet, they stand behind its quality. Next up for me is dakine luggage..."

"its comfy and holds alot, which is what i wanted... but its a bit bulgy... like it sticks straight out when theres too much inside and i cant really wear it on the bus without bumping into people. also, the little mesh side pockets dont stretch out as big as i would hope. i can only put thin water bottles in there. the other pockets are very useful and the material is awesome and very tough. great design and i like that its stealth black with no accents of any other colors."

"I like the divided inner pocket - even if you aren't carrying a laptop, it provides a nice way to organize your belongings. The top smaller pockets could be a bit deeper. I found it hard to put my driving glasses into the pocket for glasses - they just were too wide and a little more depth would have enabled me to put them into it diagonally. Also - a key fob at the top of the main compartment would be a simple and useful addition. I will probably sew one into it, but it would be nice if it were there already. Dakine makes really comfortable and well-made products - this is the third one of varying styles I've purchased and will definitely buy another Dakine should I need another backpack."

"both zippers broke on the bag and it came with a lifetime warranty. I tried to contact y'all about claiming the warranty and y'all have ignored my emails several times. The overall durability of this item isn't what i expected and the customer service isn't either."
