"This bag served me great during my latest 16 day business trip to Micronesia and Guam. The bag (with the eBags Medium packing cubes) fit 10 days of clothing and was an easy carry-on during the many flights. I needed to do laundry at day 10-11 but this was a great bag overall for longer trips. I would recommend this to anyone."

"I got this bag for a 16 day South America trip. We weren't "backpacking" but we hit up 4 different cities. The bag fit the carry on dimensions for the three different airlines we flew with. I find it so much more convenient to carry than pull a bag especially through crowds like on subways. Of course I end up carrying mine and pulling my wife's but that's a different story. This bag has the most space for the required dimensions of a carry on I could find anywhere. The split design makes it so easy to organize within. And like all Dakine bags, the quality is top notch. I'm 6 foot 3 and 200lbs and it fit very comfortably on me. If you're doing significant backpacking/hiking, this wouldn't be a substitute, but for the traveling I described I'd say it is unbeatable."

"I bought this for a family vacation in Europe, traveling to several cities , and it was excellent! The bag itself is very functional, easy to organize, and opens completely in the middle to allow easy access to all your clothes. The shoulder straps convert it to back-pack mode and it is very comfortable to wear. Several times I forgot I had it on me! I wore it as a back pack and it freed up my hands to help with other family luggage as we travelled on trains, metro, etc. You can also store the straps and carry it like a duffle bag. The material and construction seem extremely durable. I have purchased several Dakine bags over the last few years, from snowboarding backpacks to wheeled luggage, and the quality has always been excellent. They think of all the little details that make a bag great. I highly recommend this bag!"
