David King & Co. Top Handle X-Large Backpack 

"I really enjoyed this item until it started pealing. Not all over, but just in one area and it appears to be wearing away."

"I was torn between ordering the "large" vs. the "extra large" since I was going to use it strictly for weekend conferences. I wanted something dressier than my standard regular laptop backpack. I wanted to put a spiral notebook, snacks and an small insulated lunch sack for soda/ice packs. The "large" works; though stuff can't just be shoved in there like in a larger regular sized backpack. There are extra side pockets for a water bottle. Other compartments for misc. items like wallet, pens, etc. are available also. The only reason I rated it a little bit lower was the decorative leather strings that seal the main compartment better and they get in the way a bit with the main flap coming over. Just be aware that the main compartment is not as secure as a regular zippered backpack is since it's a large flap held with a magnetic button. For me, it's fine."

"I bought this specifically to carry as a carry-on bag to Japan, because I knew the backpack style would be easier to manage while wrangling a roll-aboard through the train stations, etc. It's a keeper. Good looking, plenty roomy, special pockets for different things to stay organized. It's my go-to airplane bag for long trips now; I can pack a change of clothes, meds, cosmetics, iPad, wallet essentials, etc. and have them handy, and not be in crisis mode if the luggage goes somewhere other than my destination. It's a winner!"

"This bag was just the right size for me and I especially chose it because it had the two outside side pockets for things like water bottles. Very few backpacks had this feature & I find that feature to be a necessity when travelling!"

"X-Large is a good description for a handbag, but as a backpack it is more about the size of an elementary school backpack. I bought this to replace a polyurethane bag of similar design that was falling apart. The main thing that could be improved is the top carry strap. Another strap on the top would enable you to carry it without fastening it, something that is necessary when overstuffed or if you just want to grab it quickly. Overall I am pleased that I was able to find this design, which I use as my handbag that contains everything I need, including a much smaller purse."

"My only real criticism of the bag is the clasp on the front. The magnetic snap is, in my opinion, useless. I plan to replace it with a sturdier, more secure way to close the bag. I would not buy this bag again because of this."

"This bag is slightly larger and heavier than I anticipated but the organization is terrific. There are pockets for everything from pens to my cell phone. And if I need to bring my tablet with me (which is usually) there is plenty of room for that as well. All in all, I am pleased with this purchase."

"This was much better than I exspected for the price! It looks like the last backpack that I will ever need for carrying books. I used it on a recent trip to the lake country in MN and I was the pack horse for four adults and two grandchildren. It held up and was perfect. My family says that I am fussy, but this is a good deal."
