"i just went on a 7 mile run today with this strapped to my back to a friend's place. i was able to put in wallet , iphone and small set of keys in the "valuables" small pocket. that pocket has a small clip to keep your keys from falling out. in the main pocket i was able to put in 2 kids tshirts, small towel (1X2), 1 adult tshirt, 1 pair of adult cargo shorts, deodorant, a pair of socks and a pair of boxers. on the side webbed pocket a gatorade. it was pretty loaded to say the least. there was also a divider behind the main compartment. could have been the "wet" section.. to keep your wet stuff from your dry stuff? unsure. great construction seems durable. the chest buckle seemed somewhat flimsy. i took out the abdominal one as it was not necessary. it fit close to my body that it doesn't shift while running. i was told this bag was not waterproof but i think it is at least quite water-resistant. as i was riding the bus back after the run i clutched it with my forearms folded over it. the bus had little A/C and my forearm was sweating and it it had created a tiny pool and some beads of sweat what lying top and it had not soaked through. so it is, i feel, at least water resistant through a shower. not sure if it would be so under torrential rains. i was sweating after the 7 mi run and my back was soaked but the padded back of the pack didn't seem to soak up the sweat which is a good thing. the bag is fairly light and they had decided to keep it light by providing unpadded shoulder straps. it could have used some more padding on that level. i also thought it should have been a tad cheaper - 45 dollars instead of the MSRP of $60 based on it diminutive size of the bag which is perfect for running and they should have made it 100 waterproof. although larger zipper pulls are great for the owner it's also great for pickpockets. they could have made it a tad smaller. I've been looking for a smaller backpack for running and this fit the bill."

"Perfect for short trips to the ballpark or the playground. Lite and durable for a run or hike. It's my man purse."

"I purchased the Deuter Speed Lite to use on long bike rides. I had another small backpack but wanted a tad larger backpack. This exceeds my expectations. Not only do I use it for biking but it is my primary bag for hiking and is now acting as my purse! I love this bag. I removed the straps that go around the waist since it fit perfectly on my back (i am 5 feet and 2 inches and slim build) without the extra straps. I am able to fit my iPad (the older bigger version)' my cell phone, eyeglass case, small wallet, and a light weight long sleeved shirt in this bag. There is a small zipped area on top for smaller items and one main area that has a separate section. I primarily use the main section and toss everything in. The bag also has two side meshed pockets with elastic for holding small items (probably too small for a water bottle) although the main area is plenty big to hold a water bottle. I am very happy with this purchase."
