"My son picked this out as his backpack for 3rd grade. He absolutely loved the design. When I first got it, I was disappointed because it is a little different than a regular backpack which I expected. Not to worry though because it has been great. My son is small but has no problem carrying this bag and it does not dig in or drag. He is able to bring his folders, his lunch, and his flute without problem, though with the flute we do have to squish it all in. There are quite a few additional small pockets that he likes to keep his various treasures in. My son is tough on things and I feel like I buy him new shoes every month. I have always had to buy 2 backpacks a year, at least, but this one is looking great and appears it will make the full year hopefully. Much more durable than the typical kids backpacks."
