"I purchased this bag when it first came out. I wanted something lightweight, functional, easily accessible, high quality (durable), with lots of room. I got everything I wanted! Even though it was very pretty, I wasn't sure about the durability of the lining when I bought it, but after almost a year it still looks brand new. I use this bag every day. I have a "thing" for bags and this one has become my favorite of any I've ever owned. The only problem is that it has so much room that I tend to put in too much which makes it weigh a lot. But I carry a Kindle, digital camera, large wallet, iPod, cell phone, chargers, etc. with me, so it can't help but be heavy! It's not a problem with the bag, it's a problem with me being a pack rat. I keep both straps on all the time, so I can go from a shoulder bag to a cross body bag whenever I want to. The strap is very comfortable. Love the little locking toggle on the main compartment. The two small pockets on the front are great for my cell phone and keys - so they are always within easy reach. The back pocket and the interior pocket are easy to get to and are both very roomy. They are great for my checkbook, pens, business cards, etc., leaving the main compartment for everything else. The zippers are smooth and stay closed. I bought the black one and I get complimented on it all the time. I've been very pleased with every Eagle Creek purchase I've made in the past. There have been times when I've made alterations to bags I've purchased to better fit my needs, but this is definitely one I wouldn't have designed any differently than the way they did. I LOVE THIS BAG!!"

"I bought this Eagle Creek Shoulder Bag in black. I wanted a bag that was not too heavy. This one is light and does not hurt my shoulders. I use it as my main bag and love the organizational pockets: for my cell phone, checkbook, lipstick and mirror, house and car keys, etc. I also love the red color print that lines the inside, it is beautiful.
