"This is a great item for those looking for a travel pack that is carry-on sized. I moved to Europe for the year and was looking for a decent sized backpack to accompany my one piece of checked luggage. Positives: 1. Spacious main compartment 2. Sturdy materials -- all the zippers and compression straps seem strong, as does the fabric. 3. Harness and Suspension system -- for what this pack is (a travel pack, not a standard backpacking pack), I found the pack to be quite comfortable to carry overall. My only complaint is that, since I have a petite frame (I'm 5ƈ", I felt that the shoulder straps sat a bit too far apart on my shoulders. This wasn't a major issue, since I didn't plan to carry the bag all day or for long distances. But for those who are looking for a pack travel that way with, I might recommend looking at some of the Deuter or Osprey travel packs. 4. Detachable backpack - Probably my favorite feature of the item. It's lightweight, large enough to carry my 15" laptop (in a case) plus a few extra items. It's quite comfortable and easy to carry. A few complaints: 1. I wish the main backpack opened a bit wider and had a few more of the organizational features that Eagle Creek is known for. 2. The straps on the small backpack that enable you to carry it in front of you do not stow away. Thus, if you are just carrying the small backpack around, you have two useless straps dangling around. The small backpack also has very few organizational features. 3. The zipper that connects the small and main pack together is a bit tricky to use when the pack is filled. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase so far."

"The fabric is very good looking in person - not flat black as it shows in the picture. Second pack is nicely sized. It's very light and if I can carry it fully loaded on my back, comfortably anyone can! I'm in my 60's! I think being constructed for a woman makes a big difference. Go for it, girls!"

"The Rincon Vita 65L is... perfect. I borrowed my husband's older version of this bag for a backpacking trip around the Balkans and the Caucasus and I couldn't have asked for a better bag. So, I've been so stoked to finally have my own (and in a women's fit, too!). I've used it once for camping, but it's real purpose is to take me to Kenya this summer. It's a great size; it's big enough for all your stuff but small enough that you can't really make it too heavy and it slips as a carry-on, which is awesome. I don't have many brand loyalties, but Eagle Creek has earned mine!"
