"I have owned alot of Eagle Creek products as well as other types of rolling luggage and this new Switchback Max 22 is without a doubt the best travel bag, wheeled luggage and backpack combination that I have ever used. The construction is first rate and with the ability to remove the backpack if necessary I have yet to run into any problems when stowing in the overhead compartment. I am constantly being asked about the product and with a lifetime guarantee to boot this is a great bargain."

"Great design. I love the flexibility. Both components can be carried on. It's easy to wear the small backpack and roll the large one. And in locales where the terrain is rough or you want both hands free, it works well as a single backpack."

"Excellent bag all around, but the day pack doesn't strap too well together when you have both bags filled up. After using the bag, it also seems a bit unnecessary to have the wheeling bag also function as a backpack. It feels like significant space is lost in the bag to allow this transition and so far I haven't felt a need to use the wheeling bag as a backpack really. That being said, the bag is of excellent quality and it definitely improved by travel experience. The daypack received a ton of use, and the ability to slide the daypack overtop the wheel packs handle was especially nice. My only complaint really is that the main pack felt a little small."
