"We're a traveling family of 5 that travel full-time (while working on the road), and we have been using 3 of these bags nonstop for 3 months. Can't say enough about them...they are so well made, and we're constantly impressed by the quality. We chose these because of the lifetime warranty, and are thrilled to look at them and think we may never even have to use that warranty! We keep the daypacks separate, as the rolling part fits better in overhead compartments without it. The daypacks are comfortable and spacious--and open more at the front than straight down the middle like a school backpack (so things don't fall out). There is a padded compartment in the back that fits our laptops nicely. When it is very heavy, it doesn't seem to zip on too well to the front of the rolling portion, but that is easily remedied by using the cinch straps to hold it on tight. The expandable handle is well made and has 2 locking heights (great for kids or adults), and the rolling backpack back is made with enough cushion to think that it could be comfortable enough to wear (although so far we've been places where rolling was available). The bags has nice padded and heavy duty straps at the top of the bag, as well as on the side...making it easy to carry it right-side up or sideways. It is the perfect size for an overhead compartment--with room to spare! We use Eagle Creek packing cubes for this, and can easy fit 3 large packing cubes as well as 2 medium in it. It is that big! It helps that they have great cinch tags in the packing compartment, making it possible fit a lot more than we would have guessed! Anyways, we love our packs, and wouldn't hesitate to buy them again (not that we'll need to...these are made to last)!!"

"We bought this back prior to our 2 week, 10 city trip to Italy. We purchased it specifically for the backpack straps feature thinking we wouldn't be able to roll the bag much do to train stations, cobblestone and stairs. We didn't use this feature very much but the quality of the entire bag including wheels, retractable rolling handle and carry handles, corner bumpers and zippers was evident. The detachable backpack ideal. We used it nearly every day. It has the chest and waist strap with good padding on the back, an inside pocket for a laptop or iPad, the back zip was nice for our documents and train tickets. We were rough on this bag but very glad we splurged and didn't have to worry about it breaking mid trip. It's a winner!"

"I travel about 3 times a year out of the country. I was looking for a bag that had wheels, shoulder and waist straps and this has all 3 of those. Just used it in Ireland for 3 weeks and it was AWESOME.............Extremely Happy."

"This is my second backpack rolling bag combo from eagle creek. My first one was borrowed and never returned. I was impressed with modifications that have been made since the first one. My bag got a lot of movement on my last vacation and was pulled on and off boats at least three times a day. I really liked how balanced the bags were and I really liked the stacking feature. The one thing that was was bummed about is that the two side pockets on the day pack used to hold a water bottle and now they do not."
