"This is easy to store and easy to use. I compared the weight to the weight on my scale at home and was pleased to find that it is also accurate. In todays age, it's is essential to know what my luggage weighs to avoid any overweight baggage fee. I checked in once with 2 bags where one weighed 52 pounds and the other weighed 45 pounds. The airline was going to charge me $50 dollars for the 52 pound bag (2 pounds over the 50 pound limit). I tried to explain that since my other bag was 45 pounds, I had 5 pounds to spare (making the total of both bags less than the 100 pound maxium). The airline said did not care and was insisting on the extra fee. So I literally unpacked and repacked my bags so both weighed less than 50 pounds. I know the rules are ridiculous and so was this scenerio. If I had my gripscale then, I would not of had this problem. No more repacking at the airport check-in line. One less hassle taken out of flying."

"We just used it successfully a few times to get our bags to 49.99 lbs without incurring airline charges. Excellent. Wish it had a case though bc it keep turning on inadvertently whenever you move it in your carry-on bag."

"I was excited to purchase such a handy item. I am disappointed though because I have not found the device to be accurate . Even when allowing a 2 pound difference, I have arrived at the airport twice to find the difference in the weight of my bag to be 4 to 5 pounds. I had to unpack items from my bag before checking them because the suitcase I weighed at home with the device weighed more than it reported. this is the exact situation I hoped to avoid by making this purchase. I would be happy to try another of your devices and return mine if you believe this is not a common complaint. Thank you."

"This scale is easy and accurate as verified several times against airport scales. Takes the guessing out of return trips especially with souvenirs - no surprises at the airport!"

"This works great if you pull straight up. It's the only way to get an accurate reading. But very helpful to make sure the luggage isn't over the 50 lb. weight limit."

"This little scale, moderately priced was sufficiently effective. It weighed my luggage within 4 pounds of what they were calculated by the airline at check-in. Anticipating a variance I had kept my weight to 45 pounds when measured with this luggage scale. The airline calculated 49 pounds so I was OK - but cut it very close. If you use this scale be sure to allow for slight inaccuracy."

"Very helpful during our air travel when we need to be cautious how much stuff we have to bring because of weight restrictions. Hopefully this product will be durable enough to last long. Seems the weight indication is accurate."

"I am not overly impressed with this item. I don't believe that it is calibrated correctly. There was about a 2 pound difference in the weight it said and what my luggage was at the airport. Thank god that I had left a little wiggle room and my luggage was right at 50 pounds and I didi not have to pay extra."
