"I travel about 300 days a year so I needed something that was going to last and make my life easier. I was hesitant about buying this because I am used to a 36" duffle. I am absolutely amazed at how much storage is in this unit. Everything I carried before fits in this duffel with room to spare. I love the fact that it stands on it's own. (something my previous units did not do.) I love the compartments inside the bottom. My clothes no longer get wrinkled or squished. This would be the kind of bag I would have designed had I had time to do so. I have had it on the road with me for 3 weeks now and everything is going great. It is very easy to load and unload from a trunk and it checks very well at the airport. I would highly recommend purchasing this to anyone that is thinking about buying a traditional suitcase. There is only one thing I would add to this unit and that would be a couple of runners on the back so that when you are going up and down steps the backside isn't getting scratched up. This isn't a problem if you lift straight up but if you are carrying other things it makes it difficult. This holds so much more in a smaller space. Normally I only get about a years use out of any of the travel luggage due to the abuse at airports and such. I have to say I have spent alot more and received alot less. If this lasts as long as my other units I will be ecstatic. I will add to this post in a few months to let you know how it is working."

"The multiple pockets in conjunction with a set of pacing cubes increases packing density tremendously. Thinking of getting another for extended tours."

"The Mother Load works excellent for my needs. Very versatile with many features. I Use it almost daily. The only fault I find is the handle. This is my second Mother Load and the first had the same problem. The handle needs to be made more sturdy. Using it as much as I do and expanding and retracting the handle very frequently puts a lot of wear on the handle. I love this bag and will continue purchase this bag. Thank you."

"This duffler replaces an older Mother Lode that the baggage handlers had their way with. eBags replaced that bag with this under warranty. Many thanks! The only issue I ever have with these bags is the 50 pound limit the air lines have in place."

"i found this bag to be a little heavy--after packing it, and not overpacking by the way, it seemed a little heavier than some other bags i have had. it was easy to push/pull around-handles pulled out easily, liked the straps on the side that pulled the bulk in, had lots of extra pockets, zippers worked. it stands by itself really well --i only used it twice and it seems good so far. only negative was that it seemed heavy even with nothing in it."
