"I've taken this bag on trips to Budapest and Munich (three legs each way--12 flights total, plus on and off buses, trams, and trains). What I like about the bag: 1. It zips open from the top, so that I can still reach everything when I slide the bag under the seat in front of me (it fits, even in coach). 2. The bag is lined with a taupe-y fabric, so you can see your stuff! Bags with dark linings are black holes for lipsticks, keys, etc. 3. One reviewer complained that the buckle on the front flap is a pain to open and close. There's a reason for that! The front compartment is the best place for your wallet, passport, iPhone, etc. The buckle makes it impossible for a pickpocket to slip something out of this compartment when you're on a crowded train or standing in line with your bag behind you. If your hand were on the top handle and someone tried to undo the front buckle, you'd feel the tugging. It's unlikely a would-be thief would even give it a shot. Likewise, if you were to leave your bag unattended for just a moment--say, in a restroom when you're at the hand dryer--the buckle would keep someone from grabbing your phone or money. However, an iPad or laptop in one of the zippered compartments could be swiped easily enough. 3. The quality of this bag is excellent for the price. The handle is sturdy, and the metal rods don't look cheap. The grip is comfortable. The handle doesn't get stuck when you telescope it, nor does it wiggle around like a loose tooth when extended. What I'd change: 1. Hey, we're women. Give us more color choices in dark shades that hide scuff marks (e.g., teal, not turquoise). 2. Four wheels, please!! 3. This bag is hard to find on the site. Why does it NOT come up in a search for "women's rolling briefcase"? General comment: eBags would sell SO many more pieces to women if every bag included photos of ALL the interior pockets--not just the main compartments. We want to see if there are places to organize makeup, pens, a phone, etc."

"My husband bought this for me as an early bday gift and I love it!! I found it first on Amazon for $133, s/h and tax but found it here for $119, NO Tax, NO S/H!! It arrived within the week, very well packaged and I use it every day. My shoulder was killing me from carrying a HUGE tote with my lap top and planner and such and I needed a different method to carry my things. This bag matches my Dooney and Bourke bag almost exactly and carries everything and more. My laptop is safely stashed away, the zippers are well made and open almost all the way down on either side. The handle is tall enough for me (I'm 5Ə") and I don't have to stoop to roll it. The wheels move smoothly and it's easy to turn and take the corners. The inside is very well made, the laptop compartment is padded and there are several pockets to hold your files. There is even a small, attached change purse for your ID and money. I am TOTALLY happy with this briefcase and when it finally wears out, I will happily buy another. Btw, the leather smells great and it's a classy looking piece of luggage. Everyone in my office are jealous :o)"

"This bag is fabulous! I read all the comments about this bag as I had purchased a different bag that didn't work out so well. The file section is divided into three and it holds 6 - 10 files, depending on how thick they are. The laptop section holds my laptop, with slots for my mouse, cord and a room for another file if I need it. The front section is well organized so I can carry a small notebook, pens, business cards, my wallet, and more. It is fun and functional. I only experienced the tip over problems once, when I had it overstuffed. It did have a strong leather smell for the first 24 hours - but once unpacked that went away. I haven't had trouble with the handle dragging. I haven't tried taking it on an airplane - I have hauled it to many meetings, back and forth to home and on a few week-end trips - filled so I could catch up on a few hours of work inbetween play. It is easy to put in the car and take inside using the handles or the rolling handle. If you need to carry home a file drawer of work - it won't do the trick - but if you are carrying home 3-4 inches with your laptop - this bag is winner. I am so glad I got it."

"In many ways this bag is really great. It's well organized, and I've been really glad to no longer be lugging my laptop computer plus piles of files on my shoulder. Plus the bag looks good, and has gotten me a number of compliments on it's appearance. My complaint, and the reason I marked I would not buy it again, is that the front corners are not protected and are already wearing out. The leather is worn through, and will probably be completely frayed within the next couple of months. At this price I don't expect a bag to last decades, but I do expect a couple of years of use. I don't think this bag is going to make to a full year of use."

"I am delighted with this bag. I have a bad back, and needed something that did not weigh as much as a boat anchor, while providing ample space and organization. This bag is light-weight, and has plenty of separate compartments. I was looking for a brown leather bag, but none met my needs. This red is very attractive (for a woman), and refreshing after using a black bag for 20 years."

"The back zipper (main compartment) broke the first day. I am going to have to return the bag. It looks great, but I'm very disappointed. I am going to order a different bag because even though the front buckle looks great (more purse-like, less like a suitcase), it makes getting something in and out of that section very challenging (to undo and redo the buckle). That section also does not open very far so you are limited in what fits. No quick grab of the phone or drop your keys in for that pocket."

"I've carried this bag for three weeks and love it! It looks great, and is holding up well. I even checked it as baggage on one flight - and it appeared no worse for the wear. It has lots of pockets and is roomier than expected. I carry my adapter cord, mouse, glasses, sunglasses, 16 oz bottle of water, minimal paperwork, magazines for plane reading and ipod. Can't beat it for the $$! One tip, the bag had a very strong odor when I received it. I assume it was from the leather processing. I rubbed in liberal amounts of mink oil and the odor disappeared."

"Very cute leather bag, however, I was so disappointed in the zipper as it broke on me after three weeks of usage. If you want to look great, fine, but if you are looking for something sturdy that will give you satisfaction, look elsewhere."

"while the bag is beautiful and stylish, it is not practical for travel. The bag is not weighted well and falls forward when the handle is released. (like standing in a security line and trying to answer your cell phone). Also, the handles are hard to grab when you lower the pull handle and pick up the bag. For instance, while walking down the jetway and about to enter a plane."

"The bag is very attractive and has lots of pockets to organize files and smaller items. It does have a few design flaws, which are why I would not buy it again. The computer pocket is an extremely tight fit for my 15" laptop, even though it was guaranteed to fit. I often have to fight to get it in the pocket. The placement of the leather handle is such that you have to make sure the adjustable handle is looped through it so the leather handle does not drag on the ground when pulling the bag. Finally, no matter how much I load into the back of the bag, the bag tips over forward when left standing, so I always have to find a wall against which to lean it."
